Nina and Poppop arrived in Spain the day after we returned from Germany. We were all so excited to see them. And let the exploring begin! We had lots of fun, despite rain almost the entire time they were here! We went into Rota one day and walked around, took the kids to their favorite climbing web! Then we went to Sanlucar to explore as well. We had ice cream and wandered through town during siesta, so it was very quite. The castle there was beautiful, but closed. And towards the end of the visit we went to Zahara de la Sierra. It rained a little on the drive up, but wasn't when we arrived. We wandered around for a while trying to find the entrance to the castle tower, and by the time we found it the rain had started. We all got a little wet, but collectively decided it was worth it when we saw the most amazing rainbow! Despite the rain, the day was great and scenery beautiful. Lots of cherry blossoms, reminded me of Japan! We love having Nina and Poppop here, rain doesn't stop us from having fun!
