Gymnastics and more!

So, this summer, Shawn went to summer enrichment at the school.  It lasted 4 weeks, and went from 9am-noon!  He loved it, it was easier to wake him up for this during the summer than it was all school year.  I would consider it a very successful program for us!

And the girls started gymnastics this month.  Alyssa cried when I signed her up and cried the night before the first day.  After the first day she asked me when she could go again!  Success....she likes something!  So nice to see her doing an organized activity and liking it!  They had a great time each week, and it gave them something to look forward to!  We will sign them up again in the fall!

Shawn's birthday!

Fun birthday party this year for Shawn, Daddy took him and some friends to Laser Space to play laser tag and other games!  They had a blast!

4th of July 2012

Our second 4th of July in Spain, and another fun celebration on base.  We didn't make it for fireworks, but the kids enjoyed all the activities for many hours before they were ready to go home!  Both girls fell asleep on the 5 minute drive home!

June happenings!

Little late posting about June, but better late than never!  First, Shawn had his final Cub Scout ceremony of the year, and was promoted to the next level, Bears! 

Then the last day of school, Shawn's class had a spelling bee, he came in 3rd.  They also had a talent show, where Shawn and his friend Dustin did a magic act!  They did a great job and were very entertaining!  Onto summer vacation, late nights hanging out with friends!
