The main reason for the visit from Nina and Poppop was really Shawn's birthday. He has been talking about this day since we moved here over two years ago. Today, he turned 9 on the 9th...aka his special birthday! All he wanted were Nina and Poppop to be here! So, they made it happen! Although he had to go to summer enrichment again on his birthday, he had a great day. Treats at school and then a family dinner and neighbor friends over for brownies! One happy boy! Can't believe he is 9, he is growing up so fast.
