Our last moments in Spain

Sadly, June was our last month in Spain.  We enjoyed the remainder of our visit with Sierra, with a quick day trip to Mijas.  Sierra loves donkeys, so she enjoyed a ride through town on a donkey!  We also went to a ropes course with friends, everyone had a great time!  Then we finished our time in Spain the same way we started it 3 years before, the base July 4th celebration.  It was a great day spent with our friends, kids and adults enjoying the festivities!  This move is one of the hardest, both girls see Spain as home since they moved here at ages 2 and 4, it is all they remember.  We have made amazing friends, that are going to be missed everyday.  I am so thankful for this chance to live in Spain, it has been an amazing experience for our family!

Alyssa's Birthday and Field trip!

First grade field trip is the best, tide pool exploring!  Sierra and I went along and explored!  There were some local fisherman that showed the kids their finds as well, kids enjoyed seeing and touching an octopus!  After the field trip, I took Sierra into Rota.  Showed her the castle and the market and just wandered the streets.  Love this little gem!  And lastly for the month of May was Alyssa's birthday.  She had two friends, Emma and Allie spend the night and go play laser tag!  She enjoyed her birthday!

Morocco

Made it happen for Brian....a trip to Morocco!  Words can't describe this trip, it was truely unbelievable, even the kids still say that was their favorite trip!  We took Sierra on this trip with us too as part of her graduation present!  We spent the first night in a desert camp that we arrived on camels.  The next day our guide took us to some dunes that the kids climbed all over.  We visited a movie set this day as well.  The second night was spent in an oasis, again completely amazing!  And the last night we spent in Marrakesh.  Our hotel was a little outside the center of the city and felt like a mini paradise.  Wish we had one more night there.  We visited the market during the evening, it was quite lively, with monkeys and snake charmers.  The last day before we flew home we had a tour of the city center and we able to see how the people there live.  The entire weekend was full of amazing scenery, both countryside and city.  Overall, the trip of a lifetime!
